· Essential Oil is actually a misleading name for these skin balancing substances. Essential oils are not oily at all. They are delicate aromatic essences that disappear quickly into the skin. They are quite different from fatty oils, and have a consistency more like water.
· These precious essences are carefully extracted by method of steam distillation and expression (pressing) which is the safest means of keeping these delicate oils pure and unadulterated.
· Essential oils are extremely concentrated and need to be diluted with a base oil. Some examples of a base oil are Rice Bran Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Squalane and Apricot Kernel Oil.

PRESCRIPTION FOR A RADIANT SKIN
 
Sara M products are a fabulous way to ensure a healthier-looking, supple skin and a happier you.

Every morning:  Use your cleanser, toner/mist and treatment serum (if applicable).  Follow with eye cream, moisturizer and a sunscreen.

Every night:  Remove all makeup with dual-action makeup remover and cotton.  Dual-Action makeup remover is very effective at breaking down long-lasting mascara and lip colors.  Then wash with your favourite Sara M cleanser.  Massage the cleanser gently over the entire face paying special attention to areas where oil and dirt collect.  Rinse well with tepid water.  Then use toner/mist. Wait until dry and then apply Maximum Renewal Gel*/ PepToxyl™ sparingly.  If using a night cream/moisturizer wait until your skin is dry before applying.
 
Every two - three days:  Wet skin.  Apply Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub. Avoid the eye area.  Massage gently with moistened fingertips.  If you want to have a more effective deep cleansing, leave it on for 5 to 7 minutes.  Rinse well with tepid water.  Follow with night or morning products.
*Maximum Renewal Gel is a 9% glycolic acid gel.  Water neutralizes glycolic; therefore, it becomes ineffective on wet skin.  When using glycolic-based skin care products, always apply a sunscreen of at least SPF 15.
